Maureen: Saskatchewan, Canada; I've spent hours at the table with people I love, from dining room tables to picnic tables to staff lunch rooms to tv trays around the living room. What stays the same is my love for good conversation. Whether it's chats about food (love!), debating the best coffee making methods, or deep conversations about life, I love time spent with my favorite people at the table. Maybe it goes back to the days when we'd push back our chairs a few inches from the farm table, pour a second cup of tea, and beg for an extra slice of cake so that our family time could be extended a bit longer. Mostly, I think we just crave time together and sitting around a wooden slab causes us to lean in and share openly, elbows touching, hearts connecting. Whether it's about food or whether it's about faith, here's my heart.
